1440 - Traffic Game "Highway"

Novelty in 1970, the model shown here has never been is use, why the decals to the buildings are not yet fixed - but on hand.

The game was described as "for battery and transformer operation". However not all layouts had the pins to plug the cables.

This play scene consists of two parts which are to be put together. The HAMMER trash-truck shown below was in one of my sets.

On this play scene HO scale WIKING cars were used. Attaching a plastic pin, fixed by means of a normal rubber band underneath the car, the car then set into the rotating coil spring, which, by pushing the knob of the control panel, lets the car "drive". Same way of drive (motors Made in Hong Kong) is used at the 1430.

Seize: 810 x 550 x 70mm
